There are many different ways to get involved with the 2017 MLK, Jr. Commemoration
Are you interested in helping plan the 2017 MLK, Jr. Commemoration? We are now accepting applications for the Executive Director and all other Director positions for the 2017 Commemoration. There are no requirements to apply, we are just looking for passionate people who are willing to learn and want to commit their time to making Dr. King’s messages heard throughout the campus.
- Executive Director Applications deadline have been extended and are Due in 103 HUB-Robeson by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4th.

MLK, Jr. Day of Service – Celebrate the life & legacy of Dr. King by giving back to others!

- Light breakfast and lunch will be served
- Volunteer at Local Nonprofit Organizations
- All Participants will receive a Free T-Shirt!

Evening Celebration – featuring distinguished speaker Sybrina Fulton
- Free-ticketed event. 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Schwab Auditorium
- Tickets will be available at the Multicultural Resource Center, the Paul Robeson Cultural Center, in the Office of Student Activities in 103 HUB-Robeson, and then they will also be available at the Involvement Fair Monday and Tuesday of this week and also at Information Tables on the Ground Floor of the

Join us January 21st for Speak for Peace, an Oratorical Contest and Social Justice Reception. This is a free ticketed event that includes hearing the speech contest as well as having conversation surrounding social justice issues over a catered dinner.
